Hey, I’m Britt.

I’ve been to 46 states, 4 Canadian Provinces, and 11 countries. And I’m just getting started.

I grew up a military kid.

So, I’ve been all over the U.S., and lived in Ontario, Canada until middle school. I absolutely love learning about new cultures, and trying new things. As an adult, that urge to head somewhere new (and often!) did not go away. In fact, it might have escalated.

I married a Traverse City boy who had never really left the state of Michigan. Our first flight together (and his first flight EVER) was to the Democratic Republic of Congo. Go big or go home!

We used to dream of traveling the world together, but knew that the budget would ultimately shape the deal. Maybe you’re there now. In 2019, just before the pandemic hit, a good friend of ours told us about a seminar on travel hacking and credit card points he thought we should attend. So, in the midst of travel shutting down, I learned everything I could about credit card points. How to use them without going into debt, travel partners that can be maximized, and budget travel tips. My eyes were opened, and I began creating an arsenal of credit cards (and corresponding points).

Since 2020, Joel and I haven’t paid for a single flight. We haven’t paid for a single rental car. We’ve paid for minimal hotels. We’re heading to the Faroe Islands next month (March 2024!!) for my 30th birthday. It’s an $8,500 trip that we have currently only spent $450 on.

Travel is accessible for any budget if you’re willing to get your finances in order and learn travel hacking.

I also became a certified travel agent in 2021 (through Fora Travel), to make sure that my clients are getting the best deals. I’ve planned group trips all over the world, and lead several trips myself to the Banff/Canmore area. Joel and I also own a Bed & Breakfast in beautiful Northern Michigan, called The Park Street Inn. Needless to say, I’ve been engrossed in the travel industry for quite some time, and I love being able to enjoy incredible, bucket-list experiences with my clients. Especially when I know I’ve found them the best possible deal.

If you have any questions about travel hacking, I hope you’ll check out my course, and read my blog posts. You’ll find SUCH valuable information in both about how we travel for next to free. And if you have any questions, or need help planning your next vacation, reach out to me! I’d love to assist in any way possible.

See you out there,

Britt xoxo
